APU Unit Participates in an Awareness and Training Booth at the Antonine School – Zahle

Upon the invitation of Saint Joseph High School for the Antonine Sisters – Zahle, the Anti-Poaching Unit (APU) participated in an awareness and training booth as part of the second youth gathering titled: “The Environment: The Role of Youth Between Reality and Vision”, organized by the Together We Rebuild association under the patronage of the Ministry of Environment.

Students, scouts, and participants of various ages, along with several journalists, gathered around the APU’s booth to ask questions and listen to an explanation about the role of responsible hunters in protecting nature and the sport of hunting. Under the supervision of APU members, participants also engaged in archery and blowgun fokia shooting activities—alternative outdoor sports that hunters can practice outside the hunting season.

This article was published on this date when the organization was known as the Middle East Sustainable Hunting Center. The name was later changed to the Middle East Center for Sustainable Harvest and Anti-Poaching.
