Following his attendance at a training seminar on combating illegal hunting organized by the Unit in cooperation with Off Road Keserwan hunters in Chahtoul, the Mayor of Chahtoul, Mr. Jack Salameh, reinforced this approach through a municipal decision affirming the continuation of cooperation in combating illegal hunting, within the framework of joint efforts to reduce the killing of soaring birds that pass over the area in large numbers.
Salameh called on hunters to comply with the responsible hunting law and its ethical standards, in the interest of nature and the environment, stressing that the protection of wildlife constitutes a fundamental pillar for preserving ecological balance and ensuring the sustainability of hunting as a responsible practice.
This article was published on this date when the organization was known as the Middle East Sustainable Hunting Center. The name was later changed to the Middle East Center for Sustainable Harvest and Anti-Poaching.
