The Anti-Poaching Unit APU (MESHC – SPNL – CABS), in cooperation with the Municipality of Btakhnieh and in the presence of its Mayor, Dr. Issam Abou Al Hassan, held an awareness and experience-sharing session for the municipal police.
The session focused on the role of municipal police in enforcing hunting violations and on the importance of regulating hunting to protect nature and safeguard biodiversity.
The session was delivered by:
Adonis El Khatib, President of the Middle East Center for Sustainable Hunting (MESHC) and Field Coordinator for Responsible Hunting at the Society for the Protection of Nature in Lebanon (SPNL).
Maroun Bou Rafoul, Field Investigator in the Anti-Poaching Unit and a member of the CABS team in Lebanon.
This article was published on this date when the organization was known as the Middle East Sustainable Hunting Center. The name was later changed to the Middle East Center for Sustainable Harvest and Anti-Poaching.
